Peter Francis Wolfson writes about the sacred thread running through ordinary life — what the modern world has cost us, and the innate compassion we still have the power to reclaim. His mission is simple: to help people find their way back to love, meaning, and one another.
His work is a journey of exploration and self-discovery into where we are at personally, and how we can manifest that divine love in ourselves and the world around us.

Peter Wolfson is a British Author who writes about the spiritual nature of mankind. His books examine our connection with the divine nature interwoven within ourselves, what we have lost in a modern automated & material way of living, and how to better manifest the spiritual love we were gifted from time immemorial - so that we might live in a way that is kinder and more compassionate to every living thing, and to the planet itself.
Beginning with The Age of Suffering, the first of his books to examine this divine identity, and born from watching a world constantly in turmoil and a desire to turn hearts back towards love, the series will become his deeper exploration of mankind's spiritual identity - a road map back to ancient and divine operating principles, and how to manifest and repurpose them for the present day.
Away from writing, Peter enjoys public speaking, hiking and music, and is learning to play a Svarmandal, a very ancient instrument from the Indian subcontinent. His passion for the ancient world arose from a degree in Medieval & Classical History, and he has spent years exploring castles and ancient sites both in the UK and abroad. Five years spent as a harper and travelling storyteller, gave him a deep respect for the spoken word, while time amongst monks, pagans, druids, and even a native American shaman, shaped his desire to seek out spiritual matters, truth, and the divine love he knows, resides in us all.
Alongside his spiritual non fiction, Peter also writes fiction, and where a fable serves better than an argument, he lets the story carry the idea instead.
Peter lives in the village of Theale, in Berkshire, with his cat, Mr. Zeno.
Become the love you wish to see in the world.PETER F. WOLFSON
Suffering is an inescapable part of the human experience. And yet, within the darkness, love has the power to transform, heal, and connect us to what is deepest and most divine within us and around us. Loving in the Age of Suffering offers a spiritual roadmap for navigating life's hardest valleys, with kindness, compassion, meaning, and with an unshakeable connection to the light.
Lashed Up gathers years of written verse — poems tied together by one man's vitality, like knots in old rope, the experience of all that existing entails; grief, wonder, and the slow work of coming undone and remaking oneself. Each page holds a reflection of life: from dark and sombre moments, to the joyful, reflective, and the mundane, most of all an ordinary one we're still learning to love.
Beyond his own writing, Peter works with authors who want their own manuscripts to land with the same warmth and clarity.
A read of your manuscript, responding with a detailed editorial letter on structure, pacing, character, voice, and where the suspense is working — or isn't yet.
Collaboration for writers wanting a deeper edit — reshaping a draft, untangling timelines, developing themes, and deepening the work chapter by chapter.
Peter speaks at book clubs, festivals, libraries, and classrooms — on storytelling, the ancient world, spiritual identity, and the experiences that push a writer to begin a book in the first place.
Full ghost writing for clients who have a story but not the time or craft to write it alone — a collaborative process that keeps the finished book sounding like you.
Whether you're a reader, a fellow writer, an event organiser, or simply someone the words found at the right moment — Peter reads every message himself.
